  • Streamwood has always practiced balanced budgeting. We spend what we can afford to provide the services that our residents desire.
  • Streamwood is the leader in establishing funded reserves to replace expensive capital items that we know will wear out and have to be replaced. Our model has been emulated by many communities.
  • Some years ago we eliminated Vehicle Stickers and Pet Licenses. Our residents told us that they were inconvenient and compliance was uneven at best. We listened and eliminated the problem!
