• We dedicated a state-of-the-art Police Facility in 2007 that is the model for other departments to follow.
  • We approved additional personnel in 2008 to augment both our Police and Fire Departments.
  • We reserve and plan for major equipment replacements such as the Quint pictured to the left. Many municipalities need to borrow to pay for major purchases like a Quint. Streamwood does not need to.
  • We continue to fully support the D.A.R.E. program because it is an investment in the most important part of our future, our children.
  • Street lights and Handicap access are at all Streamwood intersections.
